Russian Immersion School of Slavic Culture - ages 4 and up

Russian Immersion School is designed to teach the Russian language and the wonders of Slavic Culture to children in an immersive envionrment.

Children will be improving their language skills and interacting with other children of similar background in an educational and social setting, learning Russian language through songs, folk dances, and putting on musicals in Russian.

The children will work towards preparing a performance for upcoming community celebrations, festivals and picnics. (Upcoming performance for the fall session will be the Old New Year celebration on January 12th).

The classes meet every Sunday from 2:00pm-4:00pm from January 16th - April 6th. There will be no class on March 16th.

The cost is $330 for 11 classes and a 10% discount for siblings.. A registration fee of $25 is due with the form for all students.

Magical Land of Oz Summer Camps

Wicked Origin Musical Theatre Camp
June 9th-13th 9am-2pm
(ages 9-18) $350+$25 registration fee

In this camp, students will learn song selections and scenes from the 1st part of Wicked and put together a performance with costumes and scenery during the final hour of the camp on the 5th day. The focus will be on singing, acting and dancing. The students will also help by making props and scenery and costumes.

We’re off to see the Wizard Musical Theatre Camp
June 16th-20th 9am-2pm
(ages 5-15) $350+$25 registration fee

In this camp, students will learn song selections and scenes from the Wizard of Oz and put together a performance with costumes and scenery during the final hour of the camp on the 5th day. The focus will be on singing, acting and dancing. The students will also help by making props and scenery and costumes.

Wicked Ending Musical Theatre Camp
June 23rd-27th 9am-2pm
(ages 9-18) $350+$25 registration fee

In this camp, students will learn song selections and scenes from the 2nd part of Wicked and put together a performance with costumes and scenery during the final hour of the camp on the 5th day. The focus will be on singing, acting and dancing. The students will also help by making props and scenery and costumes.

Magic of Music Composition
July 7th-11th 9am-12pm
(ages 7-18) $250+$25 registration fee

Students will explore their imagination by learning to write a composition or song in their own choice of style and choice of instruments available. Completed compositions will be eligible to be entered in a number of competitions throughout the upcoming school year. The compositions will be performed at a later date giving ample time for the compositions to be learned.

Mesmerized by Sound: Instrument Exploration Camp
July 21st-25th (9am-12pm)
(ages 5-13) $250+$25 registration fee

Students will explore unique sounds of different instruments and get a chance to try them out. They will learn an ensemble version combining a variety of instruments and perform it as a group for parents at the end of the final day. The pieces explored will be selected based on the student’s musical knowledge. No prior experience required, but preferred.

Wizard Orchestra: Ensemble for strings and more
July 21st-25th 1-3pm
(ages 5-13) $175+$25 registration fee

Students will learn to play several tunes together as an ensemble including a variety of string instruments, harp, mallet percussion and such. Prior musical experience is preferred, but not required. Dress up as your favorite magical character for the performance on the final day.

Strumming Minstrels (Ukulele camp)
July 28th-August 1st 1-3pm
(ages 7-13) $175+$25 registration fee

Weave together magical melodies as you strum the ukulele or guitar (for older students). Prior experience is preferred, but not required. Dress up as your favorite magical character for the performance on the final day.

School of wizardry (Theatre and Magic Camp)
July 28th-August 1st 9am-12pm
(ages 7-15) $250+$25 registration fee

Students will explore the idea of attending a school of wizardry by creating their own original scenes with a variety of magic characters of their choice from stories like Harry Potter or Wizard of Oz or any other Magical fairytale character. The scenes will be infused with theatrical magic spells. This will culminate in a performance during the final hour of the camp.

Pre-notes classes for ages 3-5

Thursdays: 1:30-2:30pm or 3:30-4:30pm. Classes are ongoing and new students may join at the beginning of each month if space is available.

Pre-notes is an ongoing, season inspired class that is designed as an introduction to piano for our budding musicians. In this class - children can explore music through movements, singing, listening, improving fine motor skills, establishing rhythm, pulse and pitch awareness, as well as practice their numbers and letters all while playing games and interacting with peers. Parents/guardians are encouraged to participate and learn alongside the children to help reinforce these concepts between sessions. All instruments, gear and materials will be provided for in-class use.

Tuition: Monthly charge of $120 is due on the 1st of each month for an average of 4 classes a month. (10% discount available for siblings). Limit 10 students per class.
